Although the sentiments and vocabulary you use on your post seems somewhat harsh, I must admit that you have described my thoughts exactly as to why the death of George warrants SO much attention. As for the generational thing, I'm just not sure,
he was just two years older than me and I remember him vividly in his prime but god that was 30 more…

no one did pissed on tv like Reed. And, although i admit quite cold, i agree with the fake mourning currently gripping the nation. I will mourn a little first for the people overlloked for that transplant he got first....
